City of San Antonio
Overview
This website was contracted to my former web development company. The graphic design of the homepage was sub-contracted out for the big picture items but I filled in the gaps for the items for the that the sub-contractor was not able to fulfill.
I produced the final style guide for the website to be followed for the rest of the website not developed by my company. I created most of the CSS of the website, keeping in mind that the website had to be backards compatible to IE7 for the City of San Antonio’s audience. I made sure to design all of the nuiances of the interior pages that were not finalized by the sub-contracted company. I also cropped and placed all content into the website. I worked closely with the lead developer to QA of bugs and deploy the final product. Some of the pages made were the City of San Antonio homepage, mayor’s page and the audience landing pages (visitors, government, residents, business). I also was responsible for last minute design choices that helped to improve readability and usability of the website.
